• Canoe rentals with shuttle -- float at your leisure to your vehicle waiting at the take out. We will come get the canoe. $35/person.
• Guided canoe trips -- one to two guides per group depending on size, we will lead you down the river making stops to check out river ecology .  Call for rates.
• All-inclusive guided overnight trips:
  gourmet meals, warm sleeping bags,  campfires, summertime swimming.  Call for rates.

Canoeing the New River: The New River offers a diverse selection of trip lengths ranging from 1 to several hours on the water. The New also provides many different trip formats, ranging from private canoe rentals, guided day trips, as well as all-inclusive guided overnighters.

The Details

Canoe rentals -- float at your leisure to your vehicle waiting at the take out.  We will come get the canoe. Allow River and Earth Adventures to provide you with all the equipment including a Mohawk canoe, PFD, paddles, and a small cooler upon request. Bring sunscreen and a lunch and relax on a wilderness surrounded rocky beach for a picnic.  Two locations serve lunch or can pack a picnic in Todd, NC where we begin our adventure:  Todd General Store and the Todd Mercantile (call ahead). 

Guided canoe trips -- one to two guides per group depending on size, will lead you down the river making stops to check out some river ecology. Allow River and Earth Adventures to provide all the equipment, lunch, as well as skilled and passionate guides. Trips are built around the groups' specific needs. River and Earth Adventures has a river adventure awaiting you.

All-inclusive guided overnight trips:
gourmet meals, warm sleeping bags, campfires, summertime swimming. Allow River and Earth Adventures to provide all the equipment and meals. Groups can receive discounts for providing their own gear (FAQ) supplies. Trips are built around the group's needs from wilderness camping to riverside camping with hot showers and running water. Regardless of you and your group's needs, you are in for an unforgettable experience. Imagine yourself sitting by the camp fire with a warm hot chocolate as your guides prepare the evening's feast. For desert River and Earth Adventures guides prepare dumplings and cobbler. Our guides are up at dawn preparing fresh coffee. At River and Earth Adventures we are proud of the excellent ingredients that make our meals the best. River and Earth Adventures can meet any dietary requirements. Trips range from 1 to 3 nights. This trip is considered the finest.
